Responsibilities

Role Summary

The Caregiver Quality & Assessment Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all caregivers on the platform meet defined standards of competence, reliability, and professionalism.

This role combines caregiver vetting, ongoing quality monitoring, and family support to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Caregiver Screening & Verification

  • Review caregiver CVs, credentials, and experience

  • Conduct structured technical competency assessments

  • Verify certifications, licenses, and references

  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards

2. Skills Assessment & Onboarding

  • Evaluate practical caregiving skills (e.g., elderly care, infant handling)

  • Identify training needs and recommend upskilling where required

  • Support onboarding and ensure caregiver readiness before deployment

3. Quality Assurance & Monitoring

  • Conduct regular quality checks on active caregivers

  • Gather feedback from families and assess service satisfaction

  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions

  • Maintain caregiver performance records and ratings

4. Family Support & Customer Experience

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for families regarding caregiver performance

  • Handle complaints, escalations, and service adjustments

  • Ensure continuity, responsiveness, and quality of care

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to enhancing assessment frameworks and quality standards

  • Support the development of training materials and care protocols

  • Track quality metrics and report insights to management

Qualifications

  • Background in nursing, healthcare, or caregiving (strongly preferred)

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in caregiving, healthcare operations, or patient care

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and empathy

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
